I hate shopping. I don’t particularly like the idea of browsing and looking for something to buy. I much prefer if I know what I want, know where to get it, buy then head home. I think life is much simpler this way.
But recently I’ve developed a worrying symptom. Today at 6pm, I had the urge to go out and buy something. For no real reason whatsoever, except that I’ve been eyeing it for a while. The plan was to wait until the next payday at least but clearly when the urge strikes, there’s no holding back.
And this wasn’t the first time.
So now I’m a happy owner of a EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens.
Some women call it retail therapy, but I think it’s just plain impulsive.
