July was a pretty good month. Having recently come to terms with many things at work, I’m looking forward to August as we draw one breath closer to Christmas.

July saw Apple release and apologize for their rocky launch of the new MobileMe service.

July also saw Apple mention 22nd August as the next phase of iPhone launching into other countries.

On the blog front, July was my highest readership ever and to all three of you reading my blog, thank you for refreshing so many times on your browser.

There’s a few things I’m looking forward to in August. Clearly the iPhone launch is one, but other than that, I plan to:

  • Master Granola. My previous batch was a little too sweet and too sticky, so I’m going to perfect it this month and share it with my friends.
  • Start baking. I’ve been studying a baking book and trying to understand the science behind it, which to be honest, I find really intriguing in a really geeky way. For now, I’m planning to start with muffins before moving on to biscuits.
  • Start jamming again. The last gig was really a blast after so many years, I’m really really missing some serious studio time.

Come August come, I’m ready for you.
